Review of Existing Care & Support Assets for East Thames Group

Cobalt Development Services Limited provided expertise to East Thames Group (part of the L&Q Group and now known as Homes Matter) with the aim of adding value to some of East Thames’ Care & Support assets.

East Thames is a registered housing provider and social regeneration charity with more than 15,000 homes.  They also build new homes, provide care and support services and offer employment, training and community programs.

Some East Thames Group schemes within their Care & Support portfolio needed rationalization, particularly following the government’s Comprehensive Spending Review.  Cobalt were engaged to assist with a review of schemes in order to achieve best value to the business.

Cobalt brings a targeted, knowledgeable and affordable wealth of experience. This includes visiting sites to observe potential, updating databases to include current and ongoing or outstanding issues and providing a strategic review and options appraisal with recommendations to redevelop, retain or dispose of sites in the most efficient way for the client.

Whilst based in London, Cobalt Development Services have works across various regions of England. The current commission with East Thames Group includes reviewing sites based in London and Essex.
